Cornerstone Farms has been home to the Hendrick family – David, Cortland and their five children – since 2005. They spent 1995 serving students together in Eastern Siberia, Russia (where they met) married in 1996, then served as the leaders of the International House Ministries at TCU in Fort Worth while David finished his Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Seminary and Cortland worked as an HR Executive for a NYSE REIT. In 1999, they moved to the Middle East to serve Iraqi refugees and spent the next six years doing exactly that. Cornerstone Farms, the Crossing, and Bridge the Divide have all been expressions of the calling that God laid on each of their hearts before they were united in ministry and marriage – to love God and others in a way that transforms life and to share the joy and hope they have found in Jesus.
